If you are searching for a fancy and shiny hotel, don’t go to Buziga Country Resort, but the traveller looking for a clean, safe hotel where the staff is willing to do that little extra to make sure you feel at home, Buziga Resort in Kampala City Uganda is the place to be.

When we planned our visit to Buziga Kampala City for a weekend retreat, our friends in buziga booked us Buziga Country Resort and it was a great choice.

Kampala is so incredibly noisy, congested and high-energy, it was great to return home to the quiet and serenity of Buziga, with views of Lake Victoria.

The little cottages were cute and completely adequate--definitely not high-end, but we had no complaints.

It is the staffs who make this such a delight--from bartenders, to servers, housekeepers--everyone was unfailingly friendly and eager to help.

The resort is kind of hidden in the Buziga area, but once there you have reached a safe haven with all necessary services and above all, the greatest staff ever.

Don’t hesitate to ask for room service, gives the staff a tip and the quality of the food is ok.

The resort has rooms and self contained cottages, a restaurant, a bar and a healthclub.

Its not situated close to town but you can jump on a taxi bus in front of the resort or enjoy the 15 minutes walk to the mainroad to Kampala to get a taxi from there.
